The 2 Days Inca Trail starts at the train stop at Kilometer 104 and takes you to the fantastic ruins of Wiñay Wayna. Before descending first we will have an spectacular view of the famous lost city of the Incas. After your trek you will spend a restful night in Aguas Calientes and be refreshed and ready for your visit to Machu Picchu the following morning. This option is perfect for those who want to experience a quiet trek without hurry but who don’t have the time for the full 4 days tour.

► DAY 01: Cusco – Wiña Wayna – Aguas Calientes Details
We travel by train on a very picturesque route for 2 and a half hours until we reach kilometer 104 (the start of the trail for us). From here, we have a walk of approximately 4 hours up to the Inca site Wiñay Wayna. You have joined the path in time to see the most impressive site on the whole Inca Trail!
We will then continue on to Inti Punku from where you will have the first dramatic, panoramic view of Machu Picchu. We will walk down the last part of the trail towards the ancient city itself. Before reaching Machu Picchu, we will take a bus and go down to Aguas Calientes, leaving the visit to Machu Picchu for the next day.
► DAY 02: Machu Picchu- CuscoDetails
We have breakfast at the hotel (hotel not included) and then take the bus up to Machu Picchu. A walking tour (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes) is given by your guide and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. You will meet your guide in Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and to receive your train tickets to Ollantaytambo (Expedition Train). Finally you will be picked up from Ollantaytambo´s train station to your hotel in our private transportation.

Therefore the spaces booked provided will be guaranteed only if:
- The booking has been confirmed by our reservation department by e-mail, this meaning that spaces are available for the Inca Trail on the requested date at the moment of booking
- The full passenger date have been provided and the required deposit has been paid for.
Since Inca Trail has a maximum of 500 passengers each day (including passenger and agent staff) we strongly recommend making your bookings as much in advance as possible to make sure you will find spaces on the desired departure date.
