Silver Cloud | Cruise Ship Antarctica

Silver Cloud | Cruise Ship AntarcticaSilver Cloud | Cruise Ship Antarctica

Overview

The Silver Cloud is an ultra-luxury expedition ship operated by Silversea Cruises and the first crossover ship in its fleet, bringing remote and remarkable destinations to travelers in exceptional comfort. Following a comprehensive conversion in 2017, the vessel received an ice-class hull and a full expedition fleet, allowing it to sail from the icy shores of Antarctica to the fjords of Patagonia and the islands of the South Pacific. Accommodating up to 254 guests in 127 suites, the Silver Cloud offers one of the most generous space-per-guest ratios in expedition cruising. Around 80% of its suites feature a private teak veranda, and every guest enjoys personalized butler service. Four dining venues, an observation lounge, a spa, a pool deck, and elegant public spaces create a refined retreat after each day of discovery. With 20 Zodiac boats and 10 kayaks, the Silver Cloud can run simultaneous explorations for all guests, bringing them closer to glaciers, icebergs, penguin colonies, whales, and seals. Guided landings and enrichment lectures by an expert expedition team, streamed live to the suites, deepen the understanding of every destination. Aboard the Silver Cloud, the thrill of expedition travel meets the hallmark luxury of Silversea, offering an extraordinary way to explore the planet’s most pristine regions in comfort and style.
