The ODEON cinema in Dublin hosted the exclusive premiere of the film "Paddington in Peru," as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The event, held on November 3, brought together families, film enthusiasts, and admirers of Peruvian culture, all united by the story of the beloved bear from Peru. The Embassy of Peru in Ireland participated in the event as part of their ongoing efforts to promote tourism to Peru.

One of the highlights was a virtual reality experience that allowed visitors to explore Machu Picchu, giving attendees, especially children, the chance to virtually visit the mystical Inca citadel in the Cusco region of southeastern Peru. Additionally, the folkloric dance group "Perú Fusión" performed the traditional dance "Valicha," showcasing vibrant, colorful costumes adorned with Peruvian motifs, creating an immersive and joyous experience tied to Peruvian culture.

Following the engaging activities, guests proceeded to the theater to watch "Paddington in Peru," a film that combines the heartwarming adventures of the beloved bear with the scenic beauty and traditions of Peru. The film, set to premiere in Peru on November 8, promises to captivate both children and adults, offering a glimpse into the country’s unique allure.
