The National Geographic Gemini is a small, highly maneuverable expedition ship designed to explore remote areas with ease. It accommodates a maximum of 48 guests on week-long voyages departing Fridays, offering a range of larger suites, balcony staterooms, and various double, single, and triple configurations. All staterooms face the ocean and include ample storage space, convertible beds, a sofa, desk, television, and a well-stocked mini-fridge. Bathrooms are spacious with glass-enclosed showers. Suite 601 on the upper deck is the largest, featuring a separate sitting area, forward-facing balcony, private Jacuzzi, side balcony, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The ship features amenities such as a whirlpool hot tub on the upper deck, a fitness center and spa with windows, and an outdoor café on the lounge deck. Meals are served in the restaurant on the Marina Deck and the ship has an open, windowed lounge for presentations and informal gatherings, complete with a large bar and well-stocked library.
Equipped with a fleet of Mark VI Zodiacs, a glass-bottom boat, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, the National Geographic Gemini is well-prepared for exploring the Galápagos Islands and marine reserve. It also provides snorkeling gear for all guests, including shortie wetsuits. The ship offers an authentic Ecuadorian experience, supported by locally sourced farm-to-table and ocean-to-table meals, and is staffed by a passionate and knowledgeable Ecuadorian crew.
