5 Day Galapagos Itinerary

Day 1: San Cristóbal Island: Arrival & Interpretation Center

Upon arrival in San Cristóbal, you'll be welcomed and transferred to M/C Monique. In the afternoon, visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the Galápagos Islands’ geological origins, biodiversity, and human history. Exhibits showcase unique species and conservation efforts that continue to shape the future of this fragile ecosystem.

Day 2: Santa Fe Island & South Plaza Island

On Santa Fe Island, hike through Opuntia cactus forests to spot pale-yellow land iguanas and snorkel in clear waters with sea lions and rays. In the afternoon, South Plaza offers a colorful contrast of lava cliffs, red succulents, and nesting seabirds like tropicbirds and gulls.

Day 3: Genovesa Island: Darwin Bay & El Barranco

Land on Darwin Bay’s white coral beach and walk among nesting red-footed boobies and courting frigatebirds. Later, climb Prince Philip’s Steps (El Barranco) to reach a windswept plateau filled with Nazca boobies and storm petrels. Kayaking and snorkeling offer close views of fur seals and reef sharks.

Day 4: Santa Cruz Island: Chinese Hat & Dragon Hill

Day 5: Santa Cruz Island: Black Turtle Cove & Departure

End your cruise with a quiet exploration of Black Turtle Cove. Glide by dinghy through mangrove-lined waters and spot white-tipped reef sharks, eagle rays, and green sea turtles. Afterward, transfer to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
