We will travel along the South Coast to the area where the Eyjafjallajokull Glacier is
located. Seljalandsfoss, a narrow but high waterfall that plunges down the
mountainside, is our first stop. We then visit the Skogar Folk Museum, which contains
a collection of farm and household artifacts and turf-built homes from Iceland's
history. Skogafoss, a 60-meter-high waterfall, is nearby. It's one of Iceland's most
impressive falls.
We offer a glacier walk in the afternoon. A glacier walk is a unique experience that
will leave you with lasting memories. This activity lasts about 3 hours, including 90
minutes of ice walking and a 30-45 minute walk from the parking area to the edge of
the glacier. The minimum age to hike the glacier is 10. Bring warm clothing, hiking
boots, and rain gear. If you choose to take the glacier tour, you will not be able to visit
Reynisfjara.
If you have booked the trip but not the glacier hike then you will continue the tour
further south to the bird cliffs of Reynisfjara, near Vik. The evening presentation is
about the Northern Lights. You can see the Northern Lights if the sky is clear. They will
dance in the sky in all kinds of shapes, colors and patterns.
