Day 1: Starting an amazing Expedition

Set off from Longyearbyen precisely at 4 pm.

Sail past the remarkably picturesque Fuglefjella (Bird's Mountain) plateau formation, a breathtaking illustration of a mountainous landscape, as you leave Longyearbyen.

Day 2: Where the Whimsical Winds Whisper Through Prins Karlsforth

Get to know Poolepynten, a scenic headland on Prins Karls Forland, where you can observe a relaxed walrus colony and discover a historic burial site.

Day 3 - 7: Ice Edge Wonders & Historic Fjords: Wildlife, Glaciers, and Arctic Heritage

Uncover the untamed beauty of the ice edge, a kaleidoscope of texture and light, where seals, seabirds, and polar kings of the Arctic roam.

Sail south to Fuglefjord, where a Zodiac cruise of Svitjodbreen awaits, a thrilling quest for the awe-inspiring spectacle of calving ice.

Explore the Fjord of Johnsfjord: Steeped in History at Copper Camp, Uncover Cultural Treasures! Johnsfjord, disembarking at Copper Camp to uncover the remnants of a bygone era.

Touch down at Vårsolbukta, nestled in the majestic Van Mijenfjord, to visit Camp Bell, a charming prospector's refuge, with a chance encounter with the elusive reindeer.

Day 8 - 9: Hornsund’s Wild Beauty: Bird Cliffs, Kittiwakes & Arctic Heritage

Step foot in the breathtaking Hornsund and embark on a visit to the tiny jetty of Gnålodden to catch a glimpse of the magnificent bird cliff, a sanctuary for those striking black-legged kittiwakes, and a charming trapper's hut. Travelers who venture to Hornsund should explore the northern section of Isfjorden, which leads to Longyearbyen.

Day 10: Finish the cruise in Longyearbyen

Under full instruction from your sea kayaking guide, experience true tranquillity as you paddle through clinking ice floes and realise the enormity of the surrounding scenery. Look out for breaching whales, lounging seals and penguins zipping alongside your kayak. Some experience is required.

Camp out on the ice and experience the silence which blankets the continent by night. This is your chance to completely connect with this ethereal ice world – wrap up warm and embrace the Antarctic elements.

Get a spring in your step when you slip on a pair of snowshoes in Antarctica. Enabling you to easily scale gentle slopes, this unique activity allows you to access hard to reach places and seek out the most impressive views.

Learn to capture wildlife and landscape shots in a small group photography program, including critiquing sessions and editing classes. Plus, Explorer Boat excursions with a dedicated photography expert on landings.

Achieve the best views and photographs from a forward facing Explorer Boats. They allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise.

It doesn’t get more serene than complimentary yoga classes to the tune of glacial scenery. Join the most unique exercise setting in the world after a day of exploration. Classes are regular but are dependent on weather conditions and swell.
