The expedition to Antarctica starts its journey from Ushuaia before it sails across the Drake Passage to reach the Antarctic Peninsula and its subsequent territory. The expedition extends past typical durations to reach further into polar territory because it wants to achieve the Antarctic Circle crossing. The journey leads visitors through the South Shetland Islands and distant Antarctic territories where they will discover both glaciers and wildlife and stunning ice structures. The expedition reveals various angles of this icy terrain every day until it reaches Ushuaia which lies in the north.

14 Day Antarctica Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ushuaia

Your journey begins in Ushuaia which serves as a remote urban center between the mountain range and the Beagle Channel waterway. The city holds the distinction of being the world's southernmost settlement while serving as the first base for Antarctic exploration missions. Explore the town during your visit because it offers a special atmosphere together with beautiful views of nature. The fresh air combines with the stunning natural views to create an ideal start for our upcoming adventure. The departure process has started which makes me excited to enter this distant remote area which exists at the core of Earth.

Travelers can reach the Antarctic Circle when weather conditions become suitable which marks their most important achievement.
