The 2024 Flower Fair in Medellín returns in style. It will kick off with an inaugural concert at the Obelisk area, anticipated to draw over 20,000 attendees. Additionally, there will be 10 other shows on the artistic and musical stages featuring artists like Arelys Henao, El Combo de las Estrellas, Fernando González, Grupo Galé, El Binomio de Oro, and Dálmata, among others.
One highlight will be the parade of floats and comparsas, Avenida Primavera: Calles, Ritmos y Flores, honoring the musical genres that have left a legacy in Medellín such as tropical, salsa, vallenato, popular, and urban. This event will take place on Wednesday, August 7, at 3:00 pm along Regional Avenue, from Industriales to Plaza Mayor.
The Silleteros Parade will feature six new locations, totaling 530 participants. The event is set for Sunday, August 11, along Regional Avenue from the Guayaquil Bridge (where judging and awards take place) to Plaza Mayor, with an expected attendance of around 600,000 people.

We want all of you, no matter where you are, to feel the pride of being part of this beautiful city," said Federico Gutiérrez, Mayor of Medellín.
For this edition, the Plazas de Flores in Ciudad del Río, Parque Norte, and Juan Pablo II Airport will return, with two new spaces added at the Miraflores field in Buenos Aires and Parques del Río. Visitors will enjoy the full experience with silleteros, troubadours, artists, inns, gastronomy, music, entrepreneurs, theater, storytelling, and peasant markets, among others. Each Flower Plaza will be open for five days, with three spaces available at a time to decentralize the offerings.
The program includes three nights of trova with the semifinals and final of the XX National Trova Festival of Medellín, presentations by the Medellín Music Network at the Terminal del Norte to welcome hundreds of visitors, Zona que Suena in Parque Norte with activities for children and families, the 50th anniversary of the Sanalejo Market, and three Culture Parks in Plaza Botero, Villa Hermosa, and Parque Lleras.
The Night Cultural Park will return to Plaza Gardel from August 4 to 8, featuring nights of Afro, Colombian, Tropical, and Bolero music and a tribute to maestro Fruko for his 60 years in the arts. Additionally, the Calle de los Artistas will showcase more than 30 street artists in five tourist corridors: Pueblito Paisa, Junín, Carrera 70, Parque Lleras, and Plaza Botero.
Other events include the Santa Elena Silleteritos Parade, the traditional La Feria a Ritmo de Bici bike ride, the La Floresta Silleteritos Parade, the Classic and Antique Cars Parade, the Chivas and Flores Parade, and the Dog and Pet Walk, along with over 200 private activities.
