15 Day Artic Itinerary

Day 1: Reykjavík Embarkation

The Arctic adventure starts in Reykjavík which serves as Iceland's energetic capital city that displays its volcanic nature alongside its frozen environment. You board the expedition vessel which becomes your floating home throughout the expedition. The environment reaches its peak of excitement when travelers unite with crew members who prepare to start their journey. The journey from Reykjavík leads travelers to depart from their vibrant coastal environment which features geothermal power plants before they reach the vast ocean expanse. The shift from terrain to ocean water creates a start to an isolated Arctic water exploration which reveals different natural environments and animal species during each northbound nautical mile.
Meals Included: Lunch / Dinner

Day 2 - 3: Into the Denmark Strait

The team members who started their Arctic exploration mission began their work when they reached the Denmark Strait. The ocean supports several bird species which include fulmars and kittiwakes and guillemots that fly above the water surface. The ship sails away from Iceland while the ocean extends endlessly until it meets the horizon which shows how far the North Atlantic extends. The changing weather patterns create an intense background which makes whale watching more exciting because people can view these creatures. The team moves forward through the Arctic environment while they become more alone in this remote wilderness.

The sea presents another day of opportunities for you to experience Arctic marine wildlife and its stunning natural environment. The Denmark Strait contains diverse marine life which makes it an excellent place for wildlife observation during daily excursions. Passengers on deck wait for whale sightings and bird hunting activities which they watch from their observation point. The ship creates an increasing feeling of distance because it moves forward to reach Greenland. The Arctic Ocean reveals its full size through its clear air and wide-open views which create a peaceful environment for meditation

Meals Included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Day 4 - 8: Northeast Greenland National Park Exploration Begins

Northeast Greenland National Park allows visitors to explore the entire area which stands as one of the largest national parks in the world and its most isolated wilderness areas. The natural environment presents tall fjords together with huge glaciers and unyielding coastal cliffs. The team starts its mission to study this untouched area by moving across frozen ocean surfaces and through towering natural rock structures. The unspoiled landscapes reveal Arctic animals which stay in their natural environments without any human interference. The combination of silence and vast open space creates a unique experience, exposing a hidden region that few people ever visit.

The journey continues through the fjord systems of Northeast Greenland, where frozen rock formations and towering ice walls dominate the landscape. Waterways pass through wide valleys which glaciers formed through their slow movement across the landscape. The environment undergoes continuous transformation because sunlight bounces off ice surfaces and water bodies to produce various visual effects which appear at different times during the day. Our research focuses on Arctic natural systems while we maintain a quiet environment which enables us to experience this unspoiled Arctic landscape. Each moment offers new perspectives of Greenland’s environment in its original state.

The team ventures deeper into Greenland’s remote wilderness which stands as a space with bare minimum human presence. The tundra stretches into the distance while showing how its plants and animals have learned to survive under difficult environmental conditions. The day focuses on exploration and observation, allowing travelers to fully engage with the Arctic environment. The remote location allows visitors to experience nature in its complete natural form which they would not find in any other place.

The human existence in this region becomes apparent when visitors reach Ittoqqortoormiit. The Arctic settlement which exists in its remote Arctic environment demonstrates how people in this area continue their cultural practices while they develop methods to live in the harsh Arctic environment. The frozen environment creates a powerful visual effect because the colorful houses create a stark contrast against the icy backdrop. The experience provides cultural value because it allows people to understand Arctic life through first-hand encounters with its daily activities.

The final day in Northeast Greenland National Park continues the exploration of its remarkable landscapes. The region spreads across a wide area which contains fjords together with frozen shorelines and extensive open territory. The team explores remote waterways and icy formations, maintaining a sense of discovery throughout the journey. The Arctic wilderness shows different views at every location which produces permanent memories of its natural beauty

The unending horizon along with changing weather patterns create a dynamic environment which shapes the course of the expedition.

The day at sea continues with wildlife observation, allowing time to reflect on the journey so far. The Arctic environment shows its natural patterns through drifting ice which follows the movements of marine species that swim through its waters. The experience becomes a form of exploration that connects travelers with the vastness and isolation of the natural world.

Meals Included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Day 11 - 14: Approaching Svalbard

The ship moves toward Svalbard while the Arctic environment transforms its appearance through multiple changes. Visitors develop strong interest in visiting the remote island cluster because they can now identify the ice formations which have become more apparent. The final expedition stage takes place in this area which contains both stunning landscapes and special animals.

The waters surrounding Svalbard show a harsh environment which ice and ocean water have formed throughout time. The landscape presents an intense visual impact through its combination of dramatic shoreline views and freezing weather conditions. The expedition reveals the natural wilderness of this territory because it explores its remote areas which remain unreachable.

The day focuses on Svalbard which serves as a habitat for polar bears while the region stands as one of the most famous wildlife areas across the Arctic. The landscape presents both stunning beauty and dangerous challenges which allow visitors to experience the true essence of the Arctic wilderness. The environment carries possibilities for discovering different animal species during each passing moment.

The final full day of exploration in Svalbard brings together the journey’s highlights. The frozen landscape together with wild animals and untouched nature represents the expedition's last destination. The Arctic reveals its complete natural environment which produces an unforgettable experience
