Exploring Antarctica’s Spring | Antarctica ToursExploring Antarctica’s Spring | Antarctica Tours

Travel to Antarctica at the moment the frozen continent comes alive after winter. The expedition starts its journey from Ushuaia to cross the Drake Passage which leads to the wildlife-rich South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula.

Spring brings penguins back to their nesting grounds, fresh icebergs drifting through icy channels, and brilliant polar sunsets lighting the horizon. The expedition provides an exclusive experience because it operates when few ships operate in the region while Antarctica remains untouched during the start of its season.

11 Day Antarctica Itinerary

The adventure starts in Ushuaia which stands at Argentina's southernmost point and receives its nickname as the Antarctic entrance. The port city stands in Tierra del Fuego's dramatic scenery while it operates as an active harbor which preserves its historical ties to exploration activities. The travelers have enough time to explore the harbor and its surrounding mountains before their expedition begins.
