The capital of Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego Province, this bustling port has a population over 200,000. Ushuaia, set against the Martial Glacier and the stunning backdrop of this magnificent glacier, is the contender for world's most southern city.

You'll be given time to explore your cabin after your Expedition Team has briefed you.

Day 3 & 4: At the sea

The Expedition Team provides you with all the equipment you will need for your expedition.

Discover what's next in the Science Center onboard. Hear experts speak passionately on the history of Antarctica, science under the ice and impact of plastic pollution and climate change. Discover how you can make your trip as safe as possible, and learn about Citizen Science.

Enjoy delicious food and relax in the Explorer Lounge & Bar.

Day 5 to 9: Antarctica

You will be astonished by the beauty of Antarctica, which is a frozen wonderland. Antarctica is a place of wonder. It's surrounded by glaciers that are as large as floating cathedrals and icebergs. The silence in Antarctica may be the biggest surprise. Wildlife breaks the stillness every now and then.

By December and January, whales are arriving in larger numbers. The first penguins also hatch in this period. It's always charming to see those feather clumps running about. The peak months for whale watching are February and March, as huge quantities of krill attract whales.

We are merely observers. The Captain, an experienced professional who will constantly monitor the conditions in order to design a perfect itinerary for you. Each day is different and exciting.

You can join the Expedition Team for landings or ice cruises. Kayak among the icebergs is possible.

The Expedition Team continues their lecture on the continent, expanding your knowledge. Experience this incredible world over five days in a manner that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Day 10 & 11: At the sea

You'll be able to say that you have seen and done so many things in Antarctica after five days. You'll likely have a kaleidoscope full of memories and special impressions in your head. Reflect on your trip to the 7th continent over the next couple of days.

Take time to review your pictures and videos of the Antarctic landscape to get a feel for its grandeur. Relax in the sauna, or indulge in some spa treatments at the Wellness area.

Day 12: Ushuaia

The expedition cruise concludes in Ushuaia. This is the largest city of Tierra del Fuego province, Argentina's most southern province. You'll fly back to Buenos Aires from here. But your journey is not over.
