Day by day

This day start with a flight from mainland (Quito/Guayaquil) to galapagos. Where your Galapagos boat tour will begin with our guide picking you up and carry your luggage to the port where the panga (motorized boat) waits to take you to the Catamaran Seaman Journey and settle into your comfortable cabin. After an onboard briefing and lunch, venture to North seymour Island.

North Seymour Island is a volcanic island that has been raised. It is therefore generally flat, and covered with large boulders. The nesting areas are ideal for the magnificent frigate bird population. The blue-footed boobies do their courtship in more open spaces, while swallow-tailed geese perch along the edge of the cliffs.Bodysurfing sea lions can also be seen hauled out on the beach. North Seymour has a wide trail and is very easy to navigate. Wildlife is nearby and is not afraid of visitors.

The second day start at El Barranco, the visitor's site in Darwin Bay is located on the island's rocky southern side. This 1.5km trail on volcanic rocks can be completed in 2 hours. This cliff, located to the south of town, is made up of fragile lava. Storm Petrel nests are thriving in the natural erosion of these lava flows. Two species of petrels nest in holes and cavities in the lava.

Genovesa is one of these outer islands. The nazca booby is also present. Fur sea lions as well as several seabird species can be seen during the "panga" rides along the cliffs. This is a must-do on your Galapagos vacation.

After visiting El Barranco, you will visit Darwin Bay, Birdwatchers love this island because it allows them to see the following species: lava gulls (whimbrels), lava herons with black and yellow crowns and yellow-crowned ones, as well as yellow warblers.

The trail continues to climb up the side of the cliff, where visitors can see Red-footed boobies nesting below in Mangroves. The bird-watching experience includes the sighting of Galapagos Doves, Sharp-beaked Finches, Large cactus, and Ground flies, as well as swallow-tailed Gulls.

Your arrival at Plazas Islands is a highlight of your trip. Despite its small size, the South Plazas Islands have some of the most interesting and outstanding species in the Galapagos.

These Islands are home to some of the best and most fascinating species. Plazas land iguanas tend to be smaller than their relatives on other islands. There are many hybrid iguanas on the island. They are a cross between a marine and a land iguana.

As the final day of the Galapagos cruise, we want to give you a breathtaking last day trip. On this day, you will land at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. These experiences start with a morning excursion to the Breeding and Rearing Center for Young Tortoises, Jacinto Gordillo, located at Cerro Colorado, San Cristobal Island, where the specialists take care of young tortoises and will explain to you all the processes and efforts to maintain the population of tortoises in the islands. This breeding center offers a unique opportunity to not only educate about the breeding process but also engage and understand why it is so successful.

After this awesome experience, our guide will transfer you to the airport for your return flight to the mainland, carrying cherished memories of your Galapagos boat tour.

We loved our experience traveling on board the Seaman Journey. The ship was nice and very comfortable to stay, the common areas were perfect spaces to enjoy the views and the weather. Everybody was friendly and nice to talk with, the crew provided a remarkable service and are ready to help. Meals were offered on time and they were actually really good, we noticed they accommodate to special diet requirements too. An unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Thanks Seaman’s team!
I'll definitely recommend this cruise

My husband and I loved our 8 day/7 night cruise. We chose a catamaran as they’re more stable than single hull yachts, although the seas are calmer and warmer from December to March. Nature doesn’t always cooperate but we experienced everything we wanted and more. Glad that the yacht owner, hires all staff from the Galapagos Islands. Our guide Enrique was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area, all staff were highly competent, safety conscious and fun. Will definitely recommend this cruise to others.
We loved the excursions

Everything aboard the Seaman Journey was exceptional: and so were the excursions off of the ship. I will definitely use it again for another trip in the near future. I want to come back to Galapagos, it is definitely the best place ever
A great ship

Seaman Journey was a great ship to travel with. Easy & quick to book, very hard to beat communication skills when it came to communicating about the pre-trip info, and all our inquiries were addressed in a timely manner
