Anahi: First Class Galapagos Catamaran

Anahi: First Class Galapagos CatamaranAnahi: First Class Galapagos Catamaran

Overview

The Anahi is a first-class catamaran designed for stable cruising within the Galapagos Islands. Made in Ecuador in 2006 and renovated in 2024, the yacht accommodates up to 16 passengers. Anahi’s catamaran hull allows for smoother crossings between islands than a single-hull yacht, giving travelers a comfortable base to return to, especially during longer itineraries.

A family-owned business with over 30 years in the tourism industry, the crew treats the islands as home ground, which shows in how they handle the itinerary. Here’s what to expect aboard the Anahi.

Dining

Meals on the Anahi are served in an open-air dining area. All foods are made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including a careful selection of fruits and vegetables, Ecuadorian poultry and fish, rice and pasta, and a rotating menu of traditional Ecuadorian specialties throughout the cruise. As for the service, it leans more towards a relaxed buffet-style to maintain a light and sociable atmosphere.

If you have dietary requirements or allergies, please inform your Voyagers specialist at the time of booking rather than at the dock. These can be accommodated with an advance notice to ensure travelers can have the most comfortable stay on board.

Who is the Anahi Best Suited For?

For travelers who want a step above the budget and tourist-superior options but don’t want the pricing of premium luxury vessels, the Anahi is the perfect choice. It sits at the accessible end, starting at $3,150 per person for a 4-day itinerary and $6,195 for 8 days in a standard cabin.

Since catamarans are more stable in open water, this vessel is a good choice for travelers who are prone to seasickness. The 16-passenger capacity also works for those who prefer a little more privacy and peace during their cruise.

The Anahi is different from other first-class options in its catamaran hull, which brings stability and the owner’s 30 years of experience operating in the archipelago. A Voyagers specialist can help you compare available itineraries and departure dates.

Cabins

The Anahi has 8 cabins with two types. There are 6 Standard Cabins located on the main deck, each built for up to 2 passengers with either a double or twin bed setup. Depending on your preference, the beds can be separated or joined. All Standard Cabins have private en-suite bathrooms, large windows that let in natural light, and independent air conditioning.

The 2 Suite Cabins are on the upper deck and can accommodate up to three guests, with one double bed plus a sofa bed. They differ in window placements, with floor-to-ceiling windows across an entire wall providing sweeping panoramic views over the bow of the catamaran. Both suites have private bathrooms, air conditioning, a safety box, and premium amenities. A 50% single supplement applies to both cabin categories.

Reviews

Interesting and fun

The crew and Manuel, our Galapagos National Park guide were amazing. They made the cruise interesting and fun for my entire family; regardless of age. Even the other retirees I met on the trip had a great time.

A unique place

At first I thought the cruise was expensive: but after what I experienced, I have to say, the Anahi Cruise exceeded my expectations. I’d love to travel again to Galapagos, there are too many things to see, it’s a unique place.

Disfrutamos mucho

Nos encantó el crucero en Anahí, es un poco pequeño, pero todo lo demás fue genial! Gracias a todas la tripulación y a Alejandro nuestro guía por esta experiencia.
