After arriving in Baltra, your journey begins with a visit to the lush highlands of Santa Cruz. Walk among endemic Scalesia trees and explore volcanic lava tunnels. Spot wild Galapagos tortoises in their natural habitat and enjoy lunch in this vibrant, green landscape—a refreshing contrast to the island’s dry coastlines.

Morning takes you to Gardner Bay, where sea lions nap on powdery sands and snorkelers mingle with fish and playful pups. In the afternoon, explore Suarez Point, a hotspot for birdwatching. Witness the courtship of the waved albatross (seasonally), along with Nazca and blue-footed boobies, and the powerful blowhole shooting seawater into the sky.
