The Galapagos Passion Yacht was a family boat, purchased in Italy by the reknown Galapagueño Fidi Angermeyer, upon arrival to Ecuador it was refit in the shipyards of Guayaquil to meet the exact needs for expedition cruising in the archipelago that inspired Charles Darwin. The boat reflects on his avidness of reconstructing and refurbishing classic luxury boats into mega touring yachts. The Passion liveaboard was nourished with his love for the enchanted islands and once again has re-established the Galapagos luxury cruising standards to a new high. Only the sky is the limit and Fidi keeps on reaching for it with healthy infatuation and his marine craftmanship. It is important to note that the Galapagos Passion was refurbished with infrastructure that takes into account nature conservation and caring for the unique wildlife of the islands, this is part of the Angermeyer family's DNA and for this reason the Passion Yacht supports the efforts from Wild Aid and other entities that protect this remote wilderness sanctuary in the Pacific Ocean.
The Passion is a lavishly furnished and VIP oriented exclusive liveaboard, she boasts ample social areas, a panoramic sky lounge (sun deck) and bar (bridge deck), a separate dining room and immense sun decks, as well as a secluded solarium with a plunge pool and lounge chairs in the resting area. All six cabins on board are fully air-conditioned and incredibly spacious. Stateroom Bathrooms feature: hair dryers, High Definition TV system, 110 220 volts outlets, usb charger. The obsession with quality led to have decoration on board with noble materials such as marble, teakwood and bronze. The M/Y Passion caters to only 14 guests while other Galapagos luxury cruise ships carry up to 100 guests on board. This makes it private and even ideal for private yacht charters.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served in the inside meal parlor or the outside dining area as well as in the BBQ area. The menu has been crafted with delicate and exquisite taste in mind, without forgetting that the chef will be catering to hungry explorers, quality and quantity are well considered.
