The 25th edition of Perú Mucho Gusto is scheduled to occur from October 31 to November 3 in Lima, known as the country’s culinary hub. Last year, this premier gastronomic event attracted over 40,000 participants who enjoyed tasting both traditional regional dishes and innovative modern cuisine over a three-day period. PROMPERÚ introduced Perú Mucho Gusto in 2008, and since then, 23 editions have been held across 11 regions of Peru, showcasing over 1,500 culinary exhibitors. The event mirrors the former Mistura food festival, allowing attendees to sample dishes from diverse Peruvian regions all in one place – from Northern specialties to traditional Andean and Amazonian cuisines. Visitors can also indulge in Perú’s renowned fusion dishes, which reflect a rich cultural exchange influenced by Spanish, African, Chinese, Japanese, Italian settlers, and others.
