The Integrity Yacht provides an eight-day Eastern Galapagos expedition, which allows visitors to completely experience the world's leading wildlife sanctuary. The volcanic islands have remained untouched by human activity, but visitors can observe blue-footed boobies and giant tortoises as well as playful sea lions while experiencing different environments that include white sand beaches and mangrove-lined coastlines. Expert naturalists lead daily hikes and snorkeling activities through the archipelago exploration while they create a safe yet exciting experience for visitors to discover the archipelago's core.

8 Day Galapagos Itinerary

Day 1: Starting in Baltra, Santa Cruz

AM — Santa Cruz Highlands

Visitors who come through Baltra will find the Santa Cruz Highlands, which serves as the natural habitat for giant tortoises. The tall Scalesia forest appears through the green misty area, together with Darwin's finch birds. The vibrant Vermilion Flycatcher will show up against the green leaves if luck is on your side. 

PM — Charles Darwin Research Station & Boarding

Visitors to the Charles Darwin Research Station can observe the conservation initiatives that protect the tortoise and iguana species. Visitors can observe hatchlings and adult turtles while watching ongoing conservation work to protect these species. Your voyage will begin when you board INTEGRITY during the afternoon hours as you start your island-hopping adventure while having dinner on board.

Day 2: Española Island

AM — Gardner Bay

The beach features white sand, which stands out brilliantly, as it is home to sea lions and turtles that nest alongside friendly Española mockingbirds. Snorkel to explore underwater cliffs while swimming with colorful fish, turtles, sea lions, and small sharks. 

PM — Punta Suarez

The Galápagos Islands offer visitors their most famous attraction, which combines cliffs with powerful ocean waves and huge seabird communities. You will observe marine iguanas and lava lizards, and during the right season, the waved albatross will perform its distinctive courtship dance. The natural blowhole produces water that shoots up to great heights into the atmosphere.

Day 3: San Cristobal Island

AM — Punta Pitt

You reach the Galapagos' only spot for all three booby species after walking through a sea lion-filled beach and climbing up a rocky path. The volcanic area contains Frigatebirds and Swallow-Tailed Gulls, and resilient desert plants. 

PM — Cerro Brujo

The panoramic panga trip along the volcanic shorelines will bring you to the gentle coral sand beach of Cerro Brujo. The peaceful location attracts migratory birds and waders while you take a sunset cruise on INTEGRITY.

Day 4: Santa Fe - South Plaza Islands

AM- Santa Fe, the rugged shoreline boasts a crazy-cool combination of sea lions and supersized Opuntia cactus plants, making it a home sweet home for the island's land-dwelling iguanas. Take a stroll and discover the hidden treasures of the sea – swim alongside majestic rays, eels, and an array of reef fish, all while dodging the playful antics of sea lions.

PM - South Plaza: The Secret Hotspot for Iguana Fanatics

The natural uplift of the ground has provided a cozy habitat for land iguanas, and the cactus finches are absolutely thriving in this unique ecosystem. From time to time, you can catch a glimpse of hybrid iguanas in this area, while the cliffs are also home to vibrant seabird colonies. Bachelor sea lions head for the cliffs in the late afternoon, seeking refuge from the dominant males.

Day 5: Genovesa Island

AM — Darwin Beach

The sunken crater rim of Darwin Bay functions as a protected area which allows Red-Footed Boobies and Great Frigatebirds and Night Herons, and Yellow Warblers to thrive. The place becomes perfect for birdwatching because it combines mangrove trees with a peaceful shoreline. 

PM — Prince Phillip’s Steps 

The giant cliffs that lead to Prince Phillip's Steps show a natural staircase to visitors. The route takes you through massive booby bird colonies and Palo Santo trees until you reach a lava ridge where Short-Eared Owls observe thousands of Storm Petrels flying overhead.

Day 6: Santiago & Bartolome Islands

AM — Sullivan Bay

The lava field from the late 1800s presents an impressive sight to visitors. The barren landscape includes two main elements, which consist of the rippled pahoehoe patterns and the bright tuff cones that make for great photography subjects. 

PM — Bartolome

The famous Pinnacle Rock stands as a primary attraction of the Galapagos Islands. Visitors can swim alongside Galapagos penguins before hiking to the summit which reveals stunning views of Santiago Island and Daphne Major.

Day 7: Rabida & Sombrero Chino

AM — Rabida

The deep red beach functions as a living space for shore birds and ghost crabs, while its saltwater lagoon serves as a habitat for ducks and stilts. The Inland trails serve as a location where you can discover finches and doves and warblers and mockingbirds, and snakes on rare occasions. 

PM — Sombrero Chino

The exploration starts with wildlife observation through panga boat excursions, which include snorkeling to see penguins and rays and sharks and sea lions. The beach consists of pure white sand, which leads to a hiking path that passes through different types of volcanic landscapes.

Day 8: Baltra Island

AM — Disembarkation

Savor your last Galapagos feast aboard INTEGRITY as you prepare to disembark at Balta island, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
