As from the 1st of October it is approved the entry of foreigners from neighboring countries without isolation. Restrictions apply, however, and there might be additional changes, therefore ask every time.
Between October 1st and November 1st, there will be an increase of the entry quota in all safe corridors, airports, ports, and land borders.
As from November 1st all foreigners will be allowed to enter the country provided that:
They have completed their vaccination scheme, with date of last application at least 14 days prior to arrival to the country.
They have a negative PCR test within 72 hours prior to boarding, or antigen at the point of entry until defined by the sanitary authority.
PCR test taken between days 5 to 7 after arrival, until defined by the sanitary authority.
For any persons not presenting a complete vaccination schedule, quarantine, antigen test at entry, and PCR test on day 7 are mandatory (so far).
When 50% of the population is fully vaccinated, the antigen test at entry (except for those not vaccinated) and PCR test at days 5-7 will be discontinued and the quota can be lifted.
Additional “bubble protocols” are no longer required for Antarctic cruises.
As a rule, we always recommend that any visitor to our country considers a trip cancellation insurance, and a medical plan with repatriation.
We know it is early to celebrate, recovery will take time, but finally there is a light of hope ahead of us, and we are still here to help you when the time comes to visit Argentina again.
