Atlas Ocean Voyages has revealed its plan to increase luxury Antarctic voyages for the 2027–2028 season through new Junior Suites and enhanced air options which provide travelers with improved comfort during their journey to the White Continent. The World Navigator and World Traveler now deliver improved experiences which help travelers connect better with the remote landscapes and wildlife and peaceful wilderness at the planet's outer reaches.
The expedition team will conduct 23 departures between October 2027 and March 2028 which include 9 to 12 night trips that show the most important aspects of this distant area. Guests who want a closer look at the World Navigator experience can explore our dedicated guide to the World Navigator Antarctic Cruise for additional details.
The Fly the Drake option enables travelers to bypass the dangerous Drake Passage by taking a private charter flight that lands directly at King George Island. This new route cuts down travel duration while delivering a more comfortable entry into Antarctica which enables visitors to concentrate on the breathtaking views and native animals they will discover.
The season presents two options which consist of both extended travel durations and brief stays. The Ushuaia Roundtrip (11 Nights) and the extended Ushuaia Roundtrip (13 Nights) provide complete Antarctic Peninsula exploration for those who want to spend extended time there and potentially cross the Antarctic Circle. For travelers with limited vacation time, the Ushuaia Roundtrip (9 Nights) provides a shorter yet deeply rewarding experience. The Ushuaia Roundtrip (14 Nights) provides an all-around itinerary which suits travelers who want to explore extensively while enjoying comfortable accommodations.
The ships will feature redesigned Junior Suites with improved comfort and breathtaking views of icebergs and glaciers and marine wildlife for the 2027–2028 season. These suites feature modern design elements and large windows which provide guests with an elegant setting to watch the dramatic Antarctic scenery.
The expedition package includes a pre-cruise hotel stay in Ushuaia and a private charter flight from Atlas to provide guests with a smooth transition from their arrival to the start of their cruise. The ship provides a luxurious intimate atmosphere through its combination of modern design elements with first-class dining facilities and friendly service.
The Explorers Table serves as a main attraction for the upcoming season because it presents an exclusive dining option which offers omakase-style meals to groups of ten people. The menu presents different international meals through an organized sequence of dishes which combine top-notch ingredients with a cozy environment to enhance the dining experience on board.
