Exclusive hotel at Iguazú Falls selected as the best hotel in Argentina

An exclusive five-star resort overlooking the Iguazú Falls has been named the best hotel in Argentina for 2024.

The Gran Meliá Iguazú, situated within Iguazú National Park and surrounded by the vibrant hues of the Misiones jungle, received this honor from the annual World Travel Awards, which recognize excellence in tourism, airlines, hotels, and hospitality globally.

This marks the third consecutive year that the Gran Meliá has been awarded the title of the best hotel in the country, following wins in 2022 and 2023.

The luxurious Gran Meliá is unique in offering an exclusive view of the powerful Devil’s Throat, which will soon reopen to the public for the winter holidays, as well as other waterfalls in the national park. The hotel features 183 rooms, with the 'Deluxe Selva' being the most affordable at 400,000 pesos per night.

At the premium end is the 344 square-meter ‘Royal Suite Redlevel,’ which includes a private terrace and heated pool, among other amenities, for four million pesos per night. This suite also provides a private butler, custom dinners prepared by the hotel's chef, and access to the ‘Redlevel Lounge,’ an exclusive reading and office space that can also host meetings.

Guests in other rooms also have much to enjoy: the Gran Meliá boasts three restaurants, four bars, a spa, sauna, gym, and two event halls with a combined capacity of 550 people. Additionally, it features a spectacular 50-meter pool with a view of the majestic Devil’s Throat.
